Made it on the stovetop in a frying pan. Came out super tender and perfect! The seasonings are great! I made about 1 1/2 times what the recipe called for and that amped the flavor up. I would recommend less oil, though. I love this recipe for meal preps on the weekends since it's so easy and I can use the chicken in fajita bowls, wraps, salads, or whatever I come up with. Thanks for the recipe!
This was delicious! I doubled the recipe and used 3lbs of chicken tenderloins. Because I do not really like green peppers, I used mostly red peppers which are a little sweeter. I did not have time to marinate it for 15 minutes or longer but it turned out just as delicious. Because I doubled the recipe I had to use two pans to cook the mixture in. Instead of 15 or 20 minutes I left it in for 30 minutes. It was tender and crispy all at the same time. This goes great in fajita bowls with blended cheeses and sour cream or in tortillas. I made this a few times already and will never use packaged seasoning again.
I bribed the chicken first in half cup soy sauce and half cup worcheister sauce mixed with one tbs each chili powder, red pepper flakes and garlic powder. Also about 3 tbs re hot. Delicious and juicy.
I did a triple recipe of these for a party and they were a hit. I marinated everything for 24 hours, because I was prepping food the day before. I thought the seasoning level was perfect, and it was really easy to throw everything together on a pan. I cooked mine on convection which helped brown things nicely. Will definitely keep this one around!
